A couple of weeks ago, I was lucky enough to get to photograph Steve and Melissa’s beautiful wedding. It’s always an honor to photograph a wedding and especially so when it’s because of a referral. I photographed Melissa’s brother and sister-in-laws wedding a couple of years ago and Melissa was in the wedding. So she knew what she was getting into! Steve and Melissa are both such good people…and I love when good people get together and get married! They are both so easy to work with and fun to be around too.
Here are a few of my favorites from their day.
I loved that her bouquet had billy balls! Her gorgeous ring sat perfectly on one of the billy balls : )
Since their wedding was over 4th of July weekend, I had to bring my vintage flag along!
I loved the church, with it’s mid-century modern design and beautiful stained glass windows.
Their wedding party was a fun group! This was post ceremony, not that you can tell by the best man on one of the groomsman’s shoulders!
The bride’s brother and his wife and groom’s sister and her husband have new babies. There were lots of little people at the wedding and reception.
I always like to see families on the dance floor all dancing together.
In small towns, wedding receptions seem so much more family/kid friendly. Is it just me, or do you all notice that too?
I could not love this image any more. It’s a new fave.
So happy Steve and Melissa found each other and are now living out their happily ever after!
God bless!
