I’m working at home all day today and I’m hoping to finish getting the house back together and Christmas decor up. I have a good start, so I’m hoping things go well. I also plan to get a lot of photography work done. I’m on a good roll, so I’m very hopeful! Our Christmas cards, my parent’s cards and Donna & Jamie’s were all delivered yesterday, so I could also start to address envelopes. I always try to do something a little experimental for our cards and I usually do more than one design….
The folded card in the front is a template from Pink Ink Studios.
The card above is my design using the new “diecut” option for cards available through a professional lab. I am so happy with how it turned out! The digital pattern papers (which I adore) are Paisley Press designs available at Oscraps. You’re welcome : )
I haven’t even started my Christmas shopping yet. Normally, we would be done by this time, but not so this year. I’m okay with it. I have ideas for almost everyone, so that helps. Of course, most of our loved ones know that they will be receiving some type of photo gift!
Last week, I photographed an adorable 3 year old. As I was chatting with her sweet mama, we figured out that I knew Macy’s grandparents. It truly is a small world! I grew up knowing her grandpa Bill and his family. We went to the same church and he lived not far from my beloved Gramps and Gram. Once I knew the connection with the family, I could definitely tell that she was part of them! Her blonde curls are classic!
I must say the Tashia brought the perfect outfit choices! And Macy couldn’t have been an better as a model!
I hope you have a great day and God bless!
