under the weather…

i’m rarely ever sick. yesterday, i kept telling myself that i wasn’t sick…but as the day went by, i wasn’t fighting it very well. i finally gave in and took a nap at dinner time and then went to bed at 10. i managed to get some work done while i was fighting it. today is better, but i’m still not 100%. i’m just bummed that the scale didn’t go down much and that i didn’t make it to my orthodontist appointment.

since jamie wasn’t able to get his tat on wednesday night, he went yesterday. they stopped by on their way home….

i think it turned out great! watching nasr work, is truly watching an artist. he has not only a talent for the actual art, but he also has an eye for scale and placement. not every tattoo artist has that. i’ve seen some tats that look like a bunch of “sneezed” cartoons. being able to trust nasr’s eye is a good thing. and i don’t even have any tats!

spring is officially one week from today. i’m anxious. i think i’ll get my Easter stuff up this weekend. Easter is right up there with Christmas for me….mainly for the significance of the holiday…but also in my love of decorating. i love Easter decor. the colors, the freshness, the ease of incorporating vintage-y touches. can’t wait! i hope to make a couple of new pieces too.
