the love of my life’s birthday. happy birthday tom.
we sort of celebrated his birthday last friday. he took the day off and we went to a favorite destination to do a little antiquing…plus there’s a really great harley dealership and barbeque spot there too. it was so refreshing and fun. i wish we could make every friday a day like that. maybe when he retires? i am so blessed to be married to the best friend i’ve ever had, who happens to be full of integrity and who makes me laugh like no other.
after taking friday off, i spent the weekend taking lots and lots of photos. the weather was awesome and i thoroughly enjoyed being able to get out and shoot. i know the days of shooting outdoors are limited…unless i have brave souls who are willing to bundle up and do a winter shoot. another really cool thing that happened this weekend was that cara finished editing the wedding photo booth photos-and they are hilarious! i sat and looked and looked and laughed until my stomach hurt. as soon as i have the CD of images, i’ll share some. crazy fun.

i just love this time of year. there is so much inspiration all around, both for decorating your home and for gift giving. i want to spend a day making cards and gifts!
the family who i am sharing sneak peeks of today are a photographer’s dream. great looking, easy-going, children who are full of personality, yet well behaved…i couldn’t ask for more.
