i had no idea that riding on a train could be so theraputic. our brother in law scott has been with union pacific for many years…i think working for the railroad is a cool profession. sort of historic and yet cutting edge, ya know? when he asked tom if we would be interested in taking a ride, we jumped on it! we invited our 3 oldest grandsons, but jake had a soccer game, so it was tom, payton, grif and me. what a fun, fun way to spend a beautiful spring evening.
this is what they do when i tell them to stand together for a photo. i love it so much. they are so close.

i have so many shots that i want to share, but the day is moving on whether i am or not! i’m shooting a very small intimate wedding in an hour and then back to work on our garage sale!
