i feel a little out of touch lately. we have so many friends on vacation and we have family here with us, so life hasn’t been “as usual”. it’s been great to spend real time with our washington family. we really haven’t done anything exciting…just sharing meals together, swimming and catching up. i think we have a day of junking planned for friday and of course i’m looking forward to that!
i think i shared a sneak peek of a project i made for fiskars a couple of weeks ago and it is up on the website now. you can see it here. it’s sitting on my desk right now and every time i look at it, it makes me smile. sort of appropo.
i just made another project that i’m happy with and can’t wait to share. it is sitting on the other side of my desk. i think it’s time to clean up the desk area. i feel like it’s about time to regroup altogether around the homefront. some decluttering all the way around. lots of time spent outdoors is great, but it does take the focus off keeping up on things around the house.
while uncle dave and aunt jaynee are here staying with us, we have gotten to share the excitement of my cousin dubs and his wife kamia’s new baby girl, nuella ocean. we are still patiently waiting to see a photo of her! i wish they were closer so that i could photograph her. so happy for all of them!
last week, i did a photoshoot of two sisters and their children and one husband. i’ve done photos of the children several times before, and now there’s a new little man, max. he is scrumpy (that’s good)
i’m calling these 3 “the cute family”. but when i think it in my mind, it’s like one word, “thecutefamily”.
