edit, craft, photograph, order, organize and cook. Some of my favorite things. With CHA next week, the last minute projects will be wrapped up by tomorrow morning. Expecting a box any minute. I sort of like the craziness. Sort of. I received a box of goodness from JBS yesterday. Oh my. Such loveliness. I can’t wait to get up to the studio and dig in!

A couple of days ago, my front door project was featured on the JBS inspo blog:

I really do struggle to find the right things for the front door, so it’s almost always better to make my own. More economical for sure.

I’ve been ordering a few prints for the Loft in the past few weeks. I’m really into filling my vintage collected frames. This sweet print of Marley (Jared & Beth’s pup) is 24×24. Isn’t he scrumptious?

I really like how it is large enough to have some presence in a space. I’m still loving large bold prints.

Last night, I tried a new-to-us recipe that I spotted on Mel’s blog: Asian bbq turkey lettuce wraps. I’m a fan. I can wait until lunchtime! I’ve tried a couple of new recipes this week. We had spinach and cheese frittata on Tuesday and it was yummy too. I think gouda cheese makes about anything better. We’re going to have a cozy night in tonight….home-cooked dinner, fire in the fireplace, jammies, and snow flying outside. Sounds divine to me!

Yesterday, I had the honor of taking baby Sutton’s first photos. Well, they aren’t literally his first photos, because I know his Gram and I know she probably has quite a few of his first 6 days  : ) I had the honor of photographing Katie and Garrett’s engagement, wedding, and tummy shots. I love that I can be a small part of the special moments of their lives. They are a very special couple. Now, a very special little man has joined them. I love him already.

His nursery is stunning! Katie made the gorgeous quilt that he is laying on.

Katie looks so good. And she seems perfectly at ease and natural as a mama. So happy for this sweet family!

These pictures are just adorable, could just sit and look at them all day. Can't hardly wait until I can cuddle him once again. Such a neat little family!!! I love the way you mix things up- from big photos of framed pups, to your dinner plans to photo shoots. Your life is so full and blessed with good things.
