It’s a sunny, beautiful Saturday after a couple of gloomy, super windy days.

I went for a run and then Tom and I visited an open house in our neighborhood.

Very intriguing house.

Not a cookie cutter at all.

A little Brady Bunch-ish vibe.

But it needs a ton of work.

Total gut renovation of kitchen and dining room.

It has beautiful abundant natural light.

AND a loft studio.

No popcorn ceilings.

No builder’s grade oak anywhere!

The basement is disgusting.

Everywhere you look, it needs loving care.

But such potential.

I’ll put a photo of the living room on IG.

Not sure if we are up for a project house.

We love our house, but are thinking of downsizing.

We had a family approach us about buying our house. They love it.

So much work, so much to consider.

Feels better just to think and write about it.

I know that God knows where we need to be and what we need to do, so we’ll be praying for direction and guidance.

I have peace just knowing that I don’t have to stress about the decision.

I have a super patient senior who has had a long wait to see her peeks.

I appreciate her and her great attitude and patience. I’m catching up now, but she happened to be scheduled in the midst of the busiest of times. Maybe being the state softball champs distracted her and helped a little? Congrats to the Arlington High School girls’ softball team! My alma mater! Yay for the Eagles!

Such a pretty girl in such a pretty spot!

Love experimenting in the moonlight!

God bless!

October 22, 2012 - 10:45 am Becky J - Dear Becky...Hello from PA...your thoughts on where you are right now considering moving/downsizing were a blessing to me...I have lived all my married life {21 years} in our home 2 miles away from my parents and extended family...for 19 of those years my hubby has spent two hours a day traveling back and forth to work...four years ago on his way to work he had an accident in which he broke his neck..by God's power and grace he wasn't paralyzed..dr's all said he should have been..well, the drive is really getting to him..up and down mountains in the winter-yet, my Mom is battling non-hodgkins lymphoma and we don't want to leave the family..sigh..we are praying for wisdom...it is a huge decision...and we need guidance! May both of our families hear clearly from God... :) p.s. we have spent 21 years fixing this home up just right..and at 44 I am not sure we are up to another fixer-upper {tho' we love farmhouses} yet, I do not relish going into debt for a newer home...wisdom, give us wisdom Father! Warm blessings to you and yours!
