Hi and Happy Labor Day weekend! I couldn’t wait to share a bit of news with you about a new photography class that I’ll be contributing to!
I am thrilled and honored to be a part of this. It’s going to be different than most photography classes, in that it will cover unique topics very specifically with solutions that will often include a visual. You can sign up now! Simply click here and secure your spot!
Please join me, Marcy Penner, Tina Aszmus, Maggie Holmes, Susan Weinroth, and Kelly Noel for this style oriented class. One more thing that I love about this class: there will be a private message board where you can ask questions and we can all share. To me, this may be one of the most valuable aspects! I took an online photography class years ago from a famous Australian photographer and we had a private message board that made all the difference for me…it was truly transforming. Being able to ask what I thought were dumb questions and getting practical and straightforward answers, as well as feedback on my photos. Perfect opportunity to grow as a photographer!
This was my first month on the Studio Calico design team. To say that this is a huge honor is an understatement! When the box with the kit arrived, it was like Christmas! There is just something about using a kit to create layouts and projects…it motivates me in a way that I don’t fully understand.
The September kit is packed with such great colors, shapes and textures!
i am 6. I still haven’t taken her official 6 year photos, but I’m so glad that I snapped a few recently. I plan to create a companion page for the opposite side of this layout for her album. I’m not much of a two-pager, but I like to call the opposite page a companion page.
love this. I have done quite a few layouts about our children with their children, but for some reason, I’m not sure I had documented this with Jared and Eli. I needed to do this! I obviously like a simple design, which this definitely is! This one came together really quick and I think it represents my style.
real iron. Brooke snapped a photo of Grey with dumbbells, which made me want to do a few with Grandpa Joe’s antique dumbbells. I had sketched a layout design with imperfect half circles a while ago and I thought it worked well with these images.
the sweetest thing. I’ve mentioned a few times how much I love the SC striped pattern paper in the main kit. The bold striped titlework makes me happy!
everyday me. I like to create pages with little bits and pieces in a grid, so that was the basis of this layout.
(central high, capital avenue, the register)
I hope you’re enjoying the holiday weekend!
God bless!
