I thought I might have a *b* list ready, but it didn’t happen. Sometimes life gets in the way, ya know?
I do want to share a few peeks from a recent wedding. Mackenzie contacted me via email recently with a unique request, she wondered if I could do a wedding on short notice. The wedding would happen on a date within a 2 week period, but they didn’t know when because her fiance was in Afghanistan and they didn’t have a definite date for his leave. I was definitely in. I didn’t have any other weddings scheduled during the 2 week timeframe and I told Mackenzie that I was pretty sure that any photo session that I might have scheduled for the day that they ended up getting married would be willing to reschedule so that they could have their day. I found out about the day one week in advance and was able to reschedule the one session that I had on that day (Thanks Kinnamon family!). I’m also sneaking their peeks in ahead of a couple of other sessions today, so that the bride and groom can view them together before he heads back.
The focus on this day was their love and commitment. Period.
Pretty little chapel with a handful of family witnessing.
Her dress had such a gorgeous cluster of flowers detail.
Their attendants were SO much fun! We laughed a lot in the short time that we took photos after the wedding.
Love this shot.
We took all of the photos in a short amount of time and didn’t leave the church grounds at all, but as I was loading up to leave, I noticed Mackenzie’s license plate. Had to snap one more photo.
Thank you seems inadequate, but I have to say it anyway, thank you Sean for your service. I appreciate what you are doing and the sacrifices you are making, as well as your bride, family and friends.
God bless your day!
