It’s been a photo heavy week and that is an understatement for today’s post! Working with Lisa and seeing her vision come into reality is so inspiring and invigorating! Her custom bridal and special occasion shop, My Blue Whimsy will be opening on Main Street here in Fremont at the end of next month. I don’t even have words to articulate how stunning her shop is looking, even in the midst of renovations. I can visualize it all coming together, a well done mix of vintage, artistic, Shabby Chic and Victorian…a sort of Anthro vibe. I am in awe! Check out her Facebook page to see the designers she is carrying. The gowns and accessories that I saw were absolutely exquisite! She will have Holly Strudthoff who is a super creative florist and stylist on site too!

One thing that I enjoy about working with Lisa is that she doesn’t use professional models, she has regular people do her modeling…I get that they are beautiful regular people, but they are not trained models. Three of the models are wives and moms…don’t they look great?!

Sometimes I have to pinch myself. Opportunities to be creative and photograph such beautiful subjects in stunningly gorgeous gowns in beautiful settings is dreamy for me. Thanks Lisa! I am so excited for you and your new venture!
