I’ve mentioned it a few times in the past month and today is finally the day! If you know of someone who deserves a FREE photo session, someone who may not have an opportunity to have family photos, if not for this giveaway, go and post a comment here. I think Becky Higgin’s idea is so awesome! Just think of all the families who will be blessed through this project! So, in honor of families and specifically *my* families, I thought it would be fun to revisit some of my favorite family shots of the past year or so-

Apparently, I’ve reached the photo limit! There are a couple of things that occur to me as I’m looking through the family images on my computer….1.I don’t take as many family images as I do *just the children*…and that makes me a little sad. As a mom of grown children, I know how much it would mean to me (and hopefully my children)if I had made family photos more a priority. I was much more likely to just have the children photographed and not be included myself. Learn from my mistake! 2. Life changes. Sadly, some of the families that I have photographed in the past year have suffered losses. I know that they treasure the images more than they ever knew they would. 3. Thank God, some families are blessed to either be expecting another little one or have already added to their families. I just really love that I have a job that allows me to share in the every day as well as the milestones in people’s lives.
