the premises again for the day….I have a senior session that I can’t wait to share. Also, I keep forgetting to mention that I’ll be in Kearney for photo sessions again on Tuesday November 9. If you are in the Kearney area and are interested in a session, email me at beckynovacekphotography@gmail. I have room for one more family or individual!
Today, Crate paper is featuring JBS designers and having a giveaway! Check it out! I plan to do some crafting with the November kit today at my parents….maybe mom will join me : )
Nothing happened at the house yesterday…they were waiting for things to dry. They should be here anytime again today. I’m ready to jump when I hear someone at the door. They’ll be sanding today, so I am trying to prepare myself for the real mess. I’ll be taking the iMac out of the house again today…camping at my parent’s until the coast is clear. While I’m there, we’re going to take a new photo of the two of them. They’ve been to the eyeglass shop to pick up empty frames (yay them!) I’ve been meaning to mention the whole eyeglass and photos thing. Before Jared and Beth’s wedding, I encouraged Tom to pick up some empty frames for photos. It makes such a difference for the photographer. I strongly encourage anyone who wears glasses to do this before having photos taken. I have had a couple of recent clients with truly “nonglare” glasses, which does make a huge difference. It makes for much more candid shots, as opposed to the whole “tip your head, dip your chin, yada….”
Last week, Suzy, Lindsey and I spent the evening searching out top secret photo locales and eating sushi. It was such a fun night! We pulled over to the side of the road several times when I spotted good backgrounds with great light. All while making our way to Hiro for sushi. What could be better than a photoshoot followed by sushi?
She looks way too old in this one.
Love the backlight and the “framing”.
So this unorthodox idea was all me. I loved the idea of a junky industrial looking extension cord and amp on the front porch.
It was such a kick for me to be able to do something completely experimental and not worry. Suzy is one of my besties, so I knew she would be okay if it failed….but it ends up that I love this!
This is where I said, “stop!” and Suzy pulled over to the side of the highway.
The light was amazing and it had just a touch of quirky old and tall grass. LOVE.
This one makes me feel so peaceful. I could photograph Lindsey every day. Seriously. I could. Especially if it ended in sushi every time!
Have a great weekend! I’m shooting a wedding and CAN’T wait!
God bless!
