as always…

our weekends are always, always busy. i don’t see that changing anytime in the near future. every weekend seems to be a mix of work, play and a few obligations. so basically, if i’m honest, it’s our choice to be busy and even overbooked. we could say no to some of it, right? i have so many photos to share after this past weekend…i can’t wait! the wedding of courtney and zach on saturday was AMAZING!!! like a fairytale! the bradrick and cerise families are such quality people. truly stellar in every way. more on that later this week : )

as you may know, i love mondays. i woke up this morning anxious to get to work! even tidying the mess our house became over the weekend, sounds appealing. i love the feeling of getting things back in order and accomplishing things. and how can you not love mondays when DWTS is back? i love fall tv. after looking over the schedule (and highlighting it!), i think we will be TIVO’ing many shows. thursdays are impossible! i’m still bitter about grey’s moving from sunday nights (how many seasons ago was that?) i loved grey’s on sunday nights. no conflict. thursdays are way too competitive. did anyone see the premiere of “community” last week? tom and i were sitting at brooke and josh’s while they went to a meeting or i’m sure we wouldn’t have seen it. i would have been editing and tom would have been watching one of his shows at home. i thought it was reallly good. chevy chase is a hoot. joel mchale is perfect in his role. so i guess i’ll be adding another show to thursday nights. anyway, i can’t wait for tonight!

 after being on a roll with guys senior photo sessions, i had a few girl’s sessions last week. sarah is a girl after my own heart. she loves photography and even brought a vintage canon camera to her session…be still my heart!

the light really was this golden. crazy, beautiful light! i can usually pick a favorite from each session, but this one is tough! i almost missed this last shot initially, when i was scoping out the ones i wanted to share….i’m so glad i took a second look.

so much to try to catch up on today. it’s overwhelming, and yet because it’s monday, i have a “i can conquer the world” attitude! so i’m off to try and do that! Lord willing, of course!
