a person (in this case me) can be impacted greatly by a brief interaction with another human being. sometimes the impact is so powerful, that for days it continues to enter your thoughts often, and might even change a person forever. we all have that power of influence…which is crazy, right? this happened to me on sunday...

i can’t help it. there are so many crazy things going on in the world. from little unimportant things to much larger topics and happenings. but for me, it comes down to this: God is in control, no matter how crazy our world gets….and thankfully, we can choose to live in God’s will, loving others...

the change of seasons always feels like a fresh start to me. even though i’m sad to see summer go, i do love the idea of a fresh start with the new season. a change in daily activities, cooking, dressing, decorating….it’s all good. i have my grocery list ready to go with new recipes and ideas....

this list is just a practical list that i thought i would share. i know that when i was just starting out with my own home, i really didn’t have a clue about upkeep or deep cleaning. i just knew that my gram took her spring and fall cleaning very seriously and pretty much turned her house...
